How do we use ICOM radio?
Press & hold the PTT button. Speak clearly into the microphone (4 to 6 inches from your mouth) at a normal voice level. Then release the PTT to resume to-receive. When you press PTT to speak, no one in your group can speak or be heard; This is how most radios work.
Who invented ICOM?
The first model designed & built by Inoue Electric Seiakusho. It was our legendary all Tasistor of 50 MHz radio, in which the vacuum tubes were not used at all. This made ICOM history.
