The company proposes a ETH referrals for 10 roles, and there is a total of 4 ETH – which is approximately ₹11.6 LAKH at the time of writing, up-for Grabs. This includes 1 ETH each for referring ‘Crypto Game Economist’ & ‘Chief of Staff’ for the Mittal office.
New funding to fuel new talents
The struggling company, which shut down its messaging app earlier this year, raised funds for the first time in 5 years in August. Although Hike did not disclose the amount raised, the round included Tinder co-founders Justin Mateen & Sean Rad, SoftBank Vision Fund Chief Executive Rajeev Misra, Zeta Bhavin Turakhia co-founder & Cred’s Kunal Shah, among others.
“The rapid technological evolution over past few years has paved the way for massive disruption in social & gaming. There isn’t much to separate these 2 categories. Gaming is now inherently social, evolving into a new way for people to come out & interact … in virtual world, “Mittal said at the time.
Hike would use the new funds to expand recruiting across all functions & expand its product strategy. And, at least part of it seems to involve cryptocurrencies & Web3.
