
Samsung started 2022 with important announcement for the Consumer Electronic Show 2022. The South Korean giant has presented a new smart TV with features such as support for NFTS, NVIDIA GeForce & Google Stadia, a remote control using radio waves & more. Samsung has also released a number of monitors, including the first 4K display with a 240Hz refresh rate.
Samsung made the announcements at its pre CES 2022 event. CES 2022 officially begins January 5 & will continue till January 8 at Las Vegas Convention Center. It will be a physical event despite the companies canceling their in-person appearances.

Cloud Gaming On Samsung TV

Samsung is expanding its cloud gaming hub on smart TVs with support for NVIDIA GeForce Now, Google Stadia, & Utomik. This feature will be available on select 2022 Samsung smart TVs & also includes video game consoles connected via HDMI. This could mean that you will be able to access these cloud game services with the same controllers as your console, according to The Verge.
NFTs Support

NFTs were all rage in 2021 & are set to continue this year as well. And Samsung is joining the trend by adding support for NFTs on its 2022 smart TVs. It is actually launching a marketplace where consumers can browse NFTs on their TV screens, purchase them, & even showcase their collection to others.

Samsung is launching 3 new 110, 101 & 89-inch micro LED TVs with features like Art Mode, Multi-view Mode that allows users to view content from 4 different sources simultaneously & Dolby Atmos. Samsung is also launching the Neo QLED TVs with big updates on brightness, sound & eye comfort.
Lifestyle TVs

Samsung’s Lifestyle TV line-up is also updated with new matte screens & matte finishes on Frame, The Serif & The Sero.
Monitors

The Samsung Odyssey Neo G8 gaming monitor is the world’s first monitor to feature a 4K display with 240Hz refresh rate & 1ms response time. This is a 32 inch curved monitor with a peak brightness of 2000 nits. Another 32-inch “Smart Monitor M8” from Samsung comes with built-in Smart TV & productivity apps and a movable webcam. It also unveiled the 27-inch & 32-inch models of its S8 high-resolution monitor with 4K display, USB Type C & LAN ports.
Sound Bars

Samsung also unveiled its 2022 line-up of soundbars with Dolby Atmos wireless support, which is a smart wireless connection between the TV and the soundbar. The line-up also includes the ultra-thin HW-S800B soundbar, which is compact 1.6-inch soundbar.
Eco Remote

Samsung has unveiled a new version of its solar-powered Eco remote control which it launched last year. The new Eco remote control has a unique function that recharges by collecting radio waves from routers & converting them into energy. In addition, the Eco remote can be charged indoor & outdoor and also via its USB Type C port.
